Physical Therapist

Sanford Health, the largest rural health system in the United States, is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our team.

The successful candidate will plan, organise, and deliver physical therapy programs to help clients/patients/residents recover and improve their mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting examinations, evaluations, and interventions for clients/patients/residents affected by injury or disease
• Utilising tools and techniques to administer physical therapy interventions following safeguards
• Documenting client/patient/resident information for evaluation and establishing therapeutic plans
• Educating clients/patients/residents and their family members about treatment plans and self-exercises
• Demonstrating knowledge of current research into daily treatment of clients/patients/residents
• Exhibiting flexibility with acceptance of variable work schedules and assignments
• Participating in activities to promote the department and Sanford Health
• Supervising assistants, aides, and students as needed
• Providing ongoing education and training to peers

Requirements:

• Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure
• Licensed in the state(s) of practice as a Physical Therapist
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers required or within the first 60 days of employment

Salary Range: $38.00 - $62.00 per hour
