Senior Payroll Manager, APAC

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Senior Payroll Manager to join our growing Finance team in Singapore. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of international payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of payroll services to our employees across multiple countries.

Responsibilities:

• Execute full-cycle payroll processing for APAC international entities including India, Japan, South Korea, Australia, Singapore, and others.
• Support expansion of payroll operations to new countries.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and employment laws across all jurisdictions.
• Manage relationships with third-party payroll providers.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding international payroll matters.
• Partner closely with the equity team to process stock options.
• Resolve international tax notices from various tax authorities.
• Collaborate with People, Tax, Global Mobility, Finance, and other departments to resolve payroll discrepancies and implement process improvements.
• Assist in preparing international payroll reports and analytics for management review.
• Support payroll systems integration projects and process automation initiatives.

Requirements:

• Hold a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Have 10+ years of experience in payroll operations, with at least 5 years in international payroll.
• Are proficient in payroll processing for various compensation types.
• Have strong knowledge of international payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
• Are experienced with payroll journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close procedures.
• Have experience working with Workday HRIS and global payroll providers such as PwC GPP platform.
