Description
WSP India is seeking an Assistant BIM Technician to join our Bridges Department in Mumbai/Noida. As Assistant BIM Technician - Bridges, you will play a crucial role in our design and development process, working closely with engineers to create detailed technical drawings and plans for bridge projects.
Responsibilities:
- Manage production of work, review and ensure it meets WSP CAD standards, suggesting revisions as needed.
- Use CAD/BIM software and templates to assist design work.
- Coordinate with Project Engineers and Canada Client teams to agree on priorities and deadlines.
- Ensure work produced meets WSP CAD/BIM standards and follows QA, document control, and archiving guidelines.
- Review engineers' sketches and design team member drawings to query unbuildable or conflicting details.
- Maintain regular dialogue with Project Engineers and Canada Client Teams.
- Develop and document skills in REVIT, Microstation, Civil 3D, and ASD.
- Share knowledge with colleagues and support WSP India CAD/BIM forums.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in CAD with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience working in a similar role.
- Competence in AutoCAD/Revit/SofiSTIK BIM/Microstation/RCD/CIVIL 3D.
