We are seeking a Seasonal Retail Team Member to join our team at Target. As a Seasonal Retail Team Member, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest experiences and driving sales growth.
Job Details Starting Hourly Rate: $15.50 USD per hour Temporary additional $1 on top of an existing $1/hr shift differential for eligible overnight or early morning hours worked (effective 09/20/26 to 01/02/2027)
About the Role As a Seasonal Retail Team Member, you will be part of a sales force of specialised consultants who provide tailored suggestions and solutions through active selling and compelling visual merchandising presentations that inspire guests and build the basket. You will also be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional guest service and supporting a guest-first culture across the store
- Executing daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals
- Stocking, setting, and selling Target products
- Working efficiently and as a team to deliver for our guests
Requirements
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and other team members
- Ability to learn and adapt to current technology needs
- Ability to work both independently and with a team
- Ability to resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
- Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
- Accurately handle cash register operations
- Climb up and down ladders
- Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 40 pounds
- Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, and holidays) and regular attendance necessary
