Agency Digital & Innovation, Principal

The incumbent will assist in formulating an agency digital strategy to achieve assigned goals by deepening agent engagement and enhancing agent experience through digital innovation, data, and technology adoption.

Responsibilities:

• Drive the development and execution of an efficient process to keep the team updated on the latest innovations and trends.
• Enable ideation workshops by connecting agency, internal partners, and leading collaboration efforts.
• Partner with internal partners to ensure a cohesive approach to innovative ideas and solution providers.
• Assess risk when making business decisions, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding AIA, its clients, and assets.
• Support the implementation of an agency digitalisation roadmap.
• Develop an agent analytics data foundation and deliver analytical capabilities focusing on agent behaviour.

Agency Digital Transformation:

• Participate in formulating, driving, and industrialising Digital Agent Engagement strategies.
• Continuously develop and build up the team's knowledge of new digital technology.
• Support cutting-edge technology innovation and adopt state-of-the-art AI technology.
• Supervise maintaining stability of core agency digital platforms.
• Collaborate with business units to gather user requirements and develop digital platforms.
• Determine and propose initiatives to engage more users through frequent visits with District Directors and Leaders.
• Supervise developing a strategic plan to uplift the number of users in core agency digital platforms.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure agency requirements are implemented.
• Monitor project progress and alert management on key issues.

Data and Technology Adoption:

• Source, scale, and implement new technology and digital capabilities through partnerships.
• Supervise the development of an agent analytics data foundation.
• Understand agent behaviour and monitor movements of key agent segments through big data.
• Enable dialogue about the value and meaning of analytic insights.
• Support implementing agent analytics and digital solutions.
• Contribute ideas on enriching agent data.

Requirements:

• University/College Graduate with a minimum of 7-10 years of relevant working experience in the insurance industry.
• Knowledge in execution and project implementation an advantage.
• Good communication, interpersonal skills, and influencing skills.
• Extensive IT and digital apps development knowledge.
• Demonstrated depth of UX experience and creativity.
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.
