Description
We are seeking a Financial Analyst (MHLH) to join our Business Operations team supporting the MHLH Program. As a Financial Analyst, you will develop resource forecasts and Estimates at Completion (EACs) for control accounts, budgets, functions, pools, contracts, and programs. You will compile and analyze data from multiple sources, prepare performance reports, conduct variance analysis, and explain operational and financial results to management.
Responsibilities:
- Collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data to develop conclusions and recommendations.
- Use various budgeting tools and estimating techniques, such as cost-benefit analysis, EAC, and management estimate-at-completion (MEAC).
- Review, compare, and analyze cost performance against the baseline program plan.
- Define and communicate cost trends and project cost performance for program management attention and action.
- Develop, review, analyze, and maintain cost and/or schedule performance measurement baselines, including earned value and variance analyses.
- Develop business cases using appropriate indices.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in financial analysis and reporting.
- 3+ years of experience analyzing cost and/or schedule performance, including earned value, variance analysis, and performance trends.
- 3+ years of experience using financial data to develop business cases, recommendations, or management reports.
- Must be legally able to work in Canada.
- Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data.
- Must consent to Canadian Government Controlled Goods Program (CGP) assessment.
- Individual must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods.
- Must be eligible for Secret Level II clearance.
Benefits:
- Starting salary will be based on qualifications and experience, ranging from CAD $88,200.00 to CAD $107,000.00 annually.
