Senior Associate, Trucking & Warehousing Associate

The Opportunity

This senior role reports to the Manager, Trucking & Warehouse, based in Ho Chi Minh City, and operates with high autonomy in Hanoi. You will be the go-to person for day-to-day issue resolution and proactive process improvement.

Daily Operations & Execution

• Coordinate domestic trucking bookings across Vietnam, including EXW pickups, port runs, and cross-dock moves.
• Fulfill ad-hoc requests for trucking, CFS, and storage services from internal teams and clients.
• Track shipment and warehouse milestones, ensuring accurate system updates and KPI achievement.
• Resolve on-site issues in Hanoi directly with vendors and warehouse operators.

Warehouse & CFS Operations

• Ensure service quality, safety compliance, and cost efficiency with CFS/warehouse vendors.
• Identify and recommend improvements for operational bottlenecks in warehouse workflows.

Vendor Management

• Maintain and grow relationships with domestic trucking, CFS, and warehouse vendors in the Hanoi/Northern Vietnam region.
• Lead vendor onboarding, including document collection, rate negotiation, and service profile development.
• Manage the domestic trucking and CFS rate database for accuracy and system updates.
• Monitor vendor performance and drive corrective actions for quality or reliability issues.

SOPs, Reporting & Process Improvement

• Develop, document, and maintain SOPs for daily trucking, CFS, and warehouse operations in Hanoi.
• Create and maintain operational reports and dashboards for performance, cost, and service KPIs.
• Identify opportunities for task automation and tool development to enhance team productivity.
• Share best practices and process documentation with the wider team.

New Business Support

• Support RFQ responses by gathering vendor rates and capacity information.
• Collaborate on solution design and costing for new client opportunities.
• Prepare rate sheets and lane summaries for client proposals.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in trucking, freight forwarding, warehousing/CFS, or logistics operations, with at least 1 year of independent ownership.
• Experience with warehouse and CFS operations, and familiarity with Vietnam's domestic trucking and warehousing/CFS market.
• Demonstrated experience in SOPs, operational reporting, and process improvement.
• Comfortable with Excel/GSheet and basic tools/scripts.
• Fluent working English.
• Proactive and solutions-oriented communicator.
