We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer.

Principal Responsibilities

• Analyse business and technical requirements and contribute to solution design.
• Develop, enhance and maintain web applications and technology solutions using appropriate programming practices.
• Create automated unit and system integration tests to improve solution quality.
• Build and maintain CI CD pipelines.
• Participate in software releases and provide timely support to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Prepare clear documentation for key deliverables and review progress with the line manager.
• Collaborate actively with team members, share knowledge and contribute to a positive working environment.
• Follow applicable policies, procedures, risk requirements and technology controls.

Requirements

• Practical experience delivering web applications or technology solutions in a professional environment.
• Hands-on experience with some or all of the following technologies: Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, React and PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and CIDCD tools, such as Confluence, Jira, Jenkins, Git, GitHub, SonarQube and Ansible.
• Experience with test automation tools, such as JUnit, Selenium or Cucumber.
• Experience contributing to software delivery using Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle processes, including coding, testing, deployment and production support.
• Strong written English communication skills; confident spoken English would be advantageous.
• A collaborative, accountable and continuous-improvement mindset, with a strong focus on quality and responsible delivery.
