Description
We are seeking a Style Consultant to join our team at Target. As a Style Consultant, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience, driving sales, and maintaining a visually appealing store environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide an excellent guest experience, responding to their needs and queries in a welcoming and helpful manner
- Drive sales and achieve sales targets through effective visual merchandising and product knowledge
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge, including style, seasonality, and brand differentiation
- Set, fill, and price the floor according to business needs and guest preferences
- Execute visual presentations and visual merchandising guides to support guest experience and sales
- Maintain product availability and a full floor pad by executing priority fills, manual fills, and merchandising to capacity
- Support price change processes and execute clearance merchandising best practices
- Maintain a safe and compliant work environment, adhering to all safety policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Strong interest and knowledge of apparel products and accessories
- Welcoming and helpful attitude towards guests and team members
- Effective communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment
- Physical demands include climbing ladders, lifting up to 44 pounds, and standing for long periods
