We are seeking an Accounting Specialist (Senior Level) to join our Accounting team in Ferrari Financial Services, Inc., based in Englewood Cliffs, NJ.
In this role, you will assist in the company's financial closing process, maintaining accuracy of financial information and ensuring internal controls and procedures are followed.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting general ledger activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and account analysis
- Assisting with financial statement preparation and submission to the Parent company
- Maintaining and updating the portfolio asset database system
- Complying with public company reporting requirements
- Managing third-party providers and coordinating daily dealer funding
- Reviewing and approving manual journal entries
- Interacting with colleagues at the Maranello factory and responding to inquiries
- Calculating and reviewing payoffs and verifying dealer finance commission payouts
- Assisting with periodic state reporting requirements and handling tax requests and annual audit requests
To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance, with 5-7 years of relevant accounting experience.
Required skills include experience with G/L functions, month-end/year-end close processes, and thorough knowledge of cost center and balance sheet analysis.
Preferred skills include experience in auto industry accounting, finance company experience, public accounting experience, CPA certification, and knowledge of Flexi financial software.
