Manager (Technical Support) - School of Business and Management

The School of Business and Management at HKUST is seeking a seasoned IT professional to lead its Technical Team as a Manager.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing the technical team to provide support and consultation services to faculty and staff
• Overseeing computer upgrades for the Dean's Office
• Managing network infrastructure and file servers
• Coordinating facility upgrades for school renovations
• Maintaining the computation environment and database subscriptions for faculty research
• Managing audiovisual facilities in classrooms and meeting rooms
• Collaborating with ITSO on network security and infrastructure upgrades
• Managing the E-lock Door Access Control System
• Acting as Inventory Controller for the School

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelor's degree in IT or related disciplines
• At least 7 years of relevant work experience in IT or technical support with supervisory duties
• Strong IT skills, including programming and various computer applications
• Good command of English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)
• Excellent communication, project management, and supervisory skills
