NVIDIA offers a 12-week full-time internship for students pursuing a B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
The internship involves working on projects with a measurable impact on the business, focusing on Hardware Physical Design / VLSI.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Course or internship experience related to Floorplanning, Place and Route (P&R), Static Timing Analysis (STA), Power Integrity and IR Drop Analysis, Physical Verification (DRC/LVS), Clock Tree Synthesis (CTS)
- Experience with VLSI, Computer Architecture, Digital/Micro Electronics, Mixed-Signal Design, Digital Design, Logic Design
- Knowledge of CAD and Physical Design Methodologies, including Flow and Tools Development, and implementation
- Familiarity with EDA Vendor tool suites, such as Synopsys, Cadence, Mentor
- Programming skills in Perl, C, C++, TCL, Linux, Scheme, Python, SKILL, Make
