Description

Electronic Arts is seeking an Experience Designer for its EA SPORTS™ NHL team in Vancouver, British Columbia. The ideal candidate will help shape the visual look and feel of the EA SPORTS NHL experience, focusing on creating intuitive and player-centric interfaces.

Responsibilities:

  • Create high-fidelity UI designs and rapid prototypes for new and existing game features.
  • Develop and maintain the UI visual language, including iconography, typography, hierarchy, and brand expression aligned with the NHL visual identity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and understand player needs.
  • Ensure design solutions consider technical feasibility, scope, and production realities.
  • Participate in design reviews and present design rationale clearly to partners.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in visual design, UI/UX, or product design roles.
  • Strong visual design skills, including layout, composition, typography, color, illustration, and iconography.
  • Understanding of usability principles and designing for accessibility, diversity, and inclusivity.
  • Proficiency in interaction design, prototyping, and high-fidelity visual execution.
  • Experience presenting and articulating design decisions to cross-functional teams.
  • A portfolio showcasing thoughtful design process and strong visual craft.
  • Proficiency with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
