Description
We are seeking a Construction Surveillance Technician to provide day-to-day security in support of Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) & Special Access Program (SAP) construction efforts.
The successful candidate will have experience providing oversight of a facility, performing access control or surveillance functions. The role involves assessing, identifying, and communicating recommendations for improvements of policies, procedures, or systems, as well as identifying threats, vulnerabilities, and potential risks.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing, identifying, and communicating recommendations for improvements of policies, procedures, or systems
- Identifying threats, vulnerabilities, and potential risks
- Drafting security incident reports and briefing government and civilian agencies
- Managing uniformed escort personnel and associated logs
- Following and enforcing customers' Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Performing miscellaneous administrative support functions as directed
- Conducting inspections of materials being delivered for utilization in construction of secure spaces
- Photographing and continuously monitoring the construction of secure spaces and documenting all steps
The ideal candidate will have:
- 1+ years of related experience
- An active Secret security clearance
- Knowledge of Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705 (on SCIFs and compliance with uniform IC physical and technical security requirements)
- Ability to obtain up to a TS/SCI with CI polygraph
- Completion of additional safety training and/or certification as required by local site within the first 30 days of hire
- Ability to complete CDSE STEPP ICD 705 Physical Security Construction Requirements for SAP course within the first 30 days of hire
