People Partner, Finance

Stripe is seeking an experienced People Partner to drive efforts across its Finance organization. The successful candidate will enable leaders and managers to build successful teams, align business strategy with people strategy, create an environment where employees can thrive, and develop best practices and programs to promote meaningful career experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the Finance leadership team and organization through growth and evolution.
• Act as a strategic consultant to Finance leaders, aligning business and people strategies.
• Collaborate across People teams to develop and deliver programs addressing Finance's needs and advancing Stripe's broader people strategy.
• Use data and insights to inform organizational strategy, structure, and programs improving team health and productivity.
• Advise and coach leaders on organizational design, change management, and ways of working.
• Support leaders in executing global talent and organizational planning.
• Partner with leaders on succession planning and development and retention of critical Finance talent.
• Promote a culture guided by Stripe's Operating Principles.

Requirements:

• 15+ years of experience as a People Partner or equivalent role, preferably in fast-growing technology companies and established organizations.
• Experience partnering with and influencing executive and senior leaders.
• Strong analytical and project management skills.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Proven ability to partner with and influence diverse groups.
• Sound judgment and discretion when working with sensitive information.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting a Finance organization.
• Understanding of Finance's talent markets, specialist career paths, and leadership needs.
• Ability to connect Finance's business priorities with organizational capabilities, structures, and talent.
• Experience building trusted relationships with managers and leaders.
