The Fungible team is the 'rapid-response squad' within the Field Engineering organisation that engages with customers on strategic opportunities across Benelux and the Nordics. As a Solutions Architect, you lead technical strategy on time-boxed engagements, driving platform adoption and acting as a trusted advisor to customer architects and engineering leaders.
You bring technical depth and judgment to apply it fast in highly visible situations. Your responsibilities include:
- Accelerating critical workloads and use cases from evaluation to production-grade technical wins
- Leading architecture conversations and designing scalable solutions across data engineering, ML/AI, and real-time analytics
- Demonstrating Databricks' differentiation through custom-built solutions in competitive scenarios
- Establishing momentum quickly in ambiguous situations and compressing timelines without cutting corners
- Packaging progress into clean transitions to core teams, sustaining and expanding wins
- Bringing back patterns, plays, and product feedback to improve future engagements
The ideal candidate has several years of experience in solutions architecture, data engineering, or technical pre-sales, with hands-on coding ability in Python and SQL. They are proficient in distributed data systems, production cloud deployments, and the Databricks Platform.
