Physical Therapist, Part Time, Pediatrics

We are seeking a part-time Physical Therapist to join our team at Wilkes Medical Center - Outpatient Rehabilitation in North Wilkesboro, NC. The successful candidate will have a strong background in pediatric care and be willing to cross-train in adult outpatient and hospital/SNU settings.

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care assessment and treatment, ensuring comprehensive and functional evaluations and treatments according to the Standard of Practice
• Maintain accurate documentation, completing written patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge notes per policy
• Meet department financial and productivity standards, adjusting individual schedules as needed
• Participate in process management to optimize quality and efficiency of services
• Promote professional development and education of other healthcare workers
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, staff, and external customers
• Provide age/developmentally specific patient care, demonstrating knowledge of growth and development and the aging process

Requirements:

• B.S., M.S., or D.P.T degree from an accredited physical therapy school
• Current licensure in the state of North Carolina
• CPR certification in Basic Life Support, Level C
• Previous hospital experience preferred
