Host/Hostess PM ($15/hr + tips) - Naisho Room at The Watermark Hotel

We are seeking a Host/Hostess PM to join our team at the Naisho Room, a Japanese style Bar & Lounge located in The Watermark Hotel in Tysons Corner, VA.

As a Host/Hostess PM, you will be responsible for assisting restaurant staff in greeting and seating guests, clearing and resetting tables in an efficient and courteous manner. You will adhere to all health regulations, stock necessary supplies, and perform basic restaurant cleaning duties.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional guest service, greeting guests in a courteous and friendly manner, anticipating and responding to their needs.
• Clear and wipe down tables and counters, dispose of garbage, clean floors, pick up dishes and glassware, and restock as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, handling all beverage/food in compliance with B. F. Saul Company Hospitality Group, brand, local, state and federal regulations.
• Prioritize work duties, adhering to B. F. Saul Company Hospitality Group grooming and appearance standards, and general work rules and department procedures.
• Complete all required side work, taking initiative to assist servers, dishwashers, or other restaurant staff as needed.
• Follow B. F. Saul Company Hospitality Group procedures when handling cash and processing financial transactions.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
• Customer-focused, detail-oriented, and able to work well with others in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis throughout shift.

The salary for this position is $15 per hour, plus tips.
