Description
We are seeking a senior product manager to own the strategy for improving labour management in our customers' restaurants. You will work closely with engineering, business development, operations, and marketing partners to deliver innovative, reliable, and scalable capabilities that help our customers attract and retain employees.
Responsibilities
- Champion field research & validation: Spend time with customers in all markets to learn opportunities to improve the experience both as a restaurant employee and as a restaurant managing labour.
- Define, prioritize, and deliver a roadmap of initiatives that improve the value proposition of Toast by supporting critical labour operational workflows.
- Align Engineering, Security, Data, Research, Design, Care/Onboarding, and GTM partners to de-risk delivery and adoption of new features in the employee management space.
- Define and track key metrics and KPIs to measure ROI of roadmap initiatives and prioritize projects across markets.
- Define pricing, packaging, and go-to-market strategy with Product Marketing, Sales, and Operations; identify commercial models that fit restaurants of different sizes.
Requirements
- ~5+ years shipping complex software products with demonstrated ownership of a major product portfolio in the employer management or payroll space.
- Proven track record taking a product from discovery through prototype and pilot to scale.
- Exemplary stakeholder management and ability to align external partners and internal stakeholders, especially on high-visibility initiatives.
- Communication & influence: Clear, persuasive written and verbal communication; able to synthesize technical tradeoffs and business value for executives and partners.
- At least a Bachelor's degree required.
