The EA SPORTS NHL franchise has revolutionized sports gaming for millions of players worldwide. As a Development Manager, you will report to a Development Director and oversee the project schedule and team to achieve a high standard. Your responsibilities include managing a development team, anticipating bottlenecks, providing management escalation, project prioritization, and ensuring each project setup meets specifications.
You will work in a hybrid/onsite environment in Vancouver, 3 days a week: Tuesday - Thursday. You will need to have 3 years of project management experience with production lifecycles, processes, and project planning. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, Business, 3D Arts, or a related field is preferred.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a Scrum/Agile software development environment, stakeholder management experience with cross-functional and/or distributed teams, and experience working with expansive teams, mediation, and conflict resolution. Demonstrated ability to use generative AI productivity tools for daily workflow optimization, early-stage ideation, rapid prototyping, with the ability to critically validate AI output and iterate effectively is also required.
