Description
As a Speech-Language Pathologist with The Menta Education Group, you will work with students to provide speech-language assistance in accordance with the students’ IEP’s.
Menta Academy North, Waukegan, IL is a Therapeutic Day School setting. Staff Hours are 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, following a school calendar, with flexibility in days and hours worked.
Responsibilities
- Supervise students, in groups and individually, monitoring behaviour to ensure it aligns with programmatic expectations.
- Provide educational direction and support for students at times of confusion, frustration, and emotional upset.
- Develop and update IEP goals and progress reports for your student caseload.
- Provide Speech-Language related service minutes as dictated on the IEP.
- Maintain accurate related service logs updated weekly.
- Work 2 total days per week during work hours, with flexibility.
- Compensated Intrastate Travel is required.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited university program.
- Current Speech-Language Pathology license from IDFPR.
- Clinical Competency Certification (CCC) is preferred, but Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is welcomed.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: USD 43.51-46.51 per hour.
