Operating Room Registered Nurse

We are seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team at Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide leadership to facilitate the delivery of professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of patients. You will utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching patients and family.

Responsibilities:

• Provide professional nursing care to patients in the Operating Room
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Delegate and supervise care provided by other team members
• Document patient care and teaching provided to patients and families

Requirements:

• One year of RN experience
• Associates Degree in Nursing required; Masters in Nursing preferred
• Current licensure as a registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification required; certification in area of specialty preferred
