Job Summary: As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the overall support and modernisation of legacy Java applications.

Responsibilities:

• Meet with the Product team to define the scope and scale of the product
• Design system architecture, including reengineering legacy applications
• Complete data structures and design patterns
• Design and implement scalable APIs and Microservices
• Write high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code
• Troubleshoot and fix bugs
• Identify bottlenecks and improve software efficiency
• Collaborate with the design team on developing micro-services
• Use version control systems like GitHub to maintain and manage codebase changes
• Create and maintain technical documents, including design documents, user manuals, and API documentation
• Use deployment methodologies and CI/CD pipeline to deploy applications to various environments

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Technical Lead Engineer
• English level: Professional working proficiency
• 6+ years of experience in Backend Technologies and Frameworks
• 6+ years of experience with Java frameworks, including Struts, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Java Server Faces
• 6+ years of experience in troubleshooting
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps lifecycle, including deployment experience in Google native services
• 5+ years of experience with database systems and SQL
• 3+ years of experience with GitHub

Nice to Have:

• 6+ years of experience with Software Quality tools, such as SonarQube, CheckMarx, Fossa, 42Crunch, and Cycode
• 6+ years of experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, Prometheus, and Grafana
• 5+ years of experience with DevSecOps, designing CI/CD pipelines
• 5+ years of experience with Test-Driven Development
• 3+ years of experience with IaC and containers/Terraform and Docker
• 3+ years of experience with public cloud, especially in Containerization and Virtualization
