As a Braider in our Hairlab department, you'll have developed a high standard skill set in Afro hairdressing, including protective styling such as braiding, blow outs, and silk pressing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional braiding services, including cornrows, knotless, box braids, stitch, feed-in, and creative designs
• Maintain scalp health during long-term braided styles
• Offer excellent haircuts, washes, and styling
• Welcome clients with extensions or weaves
• Develop a high standard skill set in Afro hairdressing
• Demonstrate knowledge of braid preparation, tension control, and safe takedown techniques
• Understand how to care for and maintain Locs
• Collaborate with clients to carve out their true hair identity
• Educate clients on hair and scalp health
• Contribute to a supportive working environment
• Assist with retail sales and consultations
• Support shops and attend events to promote new hair care product or service launches
