Description
We are seeking a BIM Technician - Mechanical to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing MEP 3D BIM coordinated models, performing clash detection and resolution, creating parametric BIM families, and providing specialist support to design teams.
Responsibilities:
- Support design and bid teams with the creation of 3D visualizations and 4D models/visualizations
- Prepare quantities for use in BoQs from the 3D model
Qualifications:
- Good English communication skills
- Ability to work closely with senior colleagues
- Computer literacy
- Valid passport and willingness to be seconded to the UK for up to 3 months
- Good working knowledge of Windows environments and software applications
- Diploma/Degree in Electrical engineering or related field preferred
- 5+ years of production experience in design, drafting, and engineering
Key Competencies/Skills:
- Experience with BIM MEP, AutoCAD (2D and 3D), and Navisworks is essential
- Experience with Autodesk 3ds MAX, MS Excel, and MS Word is desirable
