Consultant Specialist

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

Principal responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain the community of API and Cloud engineers across the platform teams.
• Help design, maintain, and improve CI/CD tools and build pipelines.
• Collaborate with technical leaders and product owners to contribute to product and project strategy, code standards, roadmap definition, and requirements gathering.
• Advocate and advance modern software development practices within the API and Cloud engineering community.
• Participate in broader discussions about end-to-end software architecture.
• Work closely with teams, product owners, agile coaches, and other stakeholders to ensure delivery of world-class tools and capabilities for our API and Cloud community.
• Actively participate in the API and Cloud Engineering Discipline and associated communities.

Requirements:

• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with Java, microservices, Cloud, iOS, and Android.
• Participate in technical Show & Tells.
• Passionate about open-source ways of working.
• Experience in fostering a strong engineering culture in an agile and DevOps environment.
• Track record of identifying and implementing opportunities to enable API and Cloud engineers to develop more productively and with high quality.
• Advocate for quality.
• Be an ambassador for writing testable code.
• Document solutions.
• Write blog articles.
