Job Details:
- Delivering groceries to customers on time and in great condition using a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van.
- Ensuring the van is roadworthy, clean, and organised, and that customers' shopping is secure before setting off.
- Following planned routes and driving safely in various locations, traffic, weather, and road conditions.
- Moving containers weighing up to 15kg and delivering shopping to a variety of properties.
- Communicating effectively with customers, including keeping them informed of any delays or changes to their order.
Requirements:
- Friendly and welcoming with a genuine enthusiasm for helping customers.
- Comfortable driving a larger vehicle safely in different locations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physical, and high-energy environment.
- Willingness to use initiative, solve problems, and make safe decisions while out on the road.
- Flexibility and willingness to work across the store and take on new challenges.
- Open to learning and using route and delivery technology.
