Operations Director

We are seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead our teams in Originación, Servicio al Cliente, Cobranza, and Recuperación de Activos. The successful candidate will report directly to the Presidency of Ford Credit México and define the operational strategy aligned with our growth, profitability, and risk management goals.

The Operations Director will be responsible for driving digital transformation and process automation, optimising credit and collection workflows, and ensuring compliance with Mexican financial regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead teams in Originación, Servicio al Cliente, Cobranza, and Recuperación de Activos
• Define operational strategy aligned with business goals
• Drive digital transformation and process automation
• Optimise credit and collection workflows
• Ensure compliance with Mexican financial regulations

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of progressive experience in financial services operations, ideally in automotive financing, consumer credit, or banking
• 5+ years in a senior leadership role supervising multiple operational functions
• Proven experience operating within the Mexican regulatory environment (CNBV, CONDUSEF)
• Experience managing external providers (collection agencies, recovery, and legal)
• Strategic and analytical thinking, with a focus on data-driven decision-making
• Excellent leadership and collaboration skills
• Deep knowledge of credit risk, collection strategies, and asset recovery best practices
• Proficiency in operating systems and credit administration (LOS, CRM, collection platforms)
• Bilingual: fluent in Spanish and English (C1 or higher)
• Solid understanding of Mexican consumer finance regulations and recovery/repossession legal frameworks
• Continuous improvement mindset (Lean/Six Sigma certification desirable)
