Internal Communications Manager: GTM

Anthropic is seeking an Internal Communications Manager to serve as a dedicated communications partner to its go-to-market (GTM) organization.

The Internal Communications Manager will be responsible for owning the internal communications strategy for their portfolio within GTM, becoming an expert in the team's work, and a trusted member of its leadership support team.

Responsibilities:

• Own the internal communications strategy for your portfolio within GTM
• Serve as an advisor to the Chief Commercial Officer and their team
• People manage a small team (one/two directs), supporting the global GTM org
• Translate complex sales strategy and customer stories into narratives that land with employees across every function
• Anticipate communications needs before they arrive
• Design and implement strategies to boost signal and reduce noise
• Plan and execute internal fora like all-hands and AMAs with operational excellence
• Partner closely with the broader internal communications team

Requirements:

• 12+ years of experience in communications or an adjacent craft
• Exceptional writing skills, with a talent for distilling complex concepts into plain English
• Experience serving as a trusted advisor to senior leaders
• Ability to see the big picture and connect individual team updates to company strategy and mission
• Keen eye for organizational culture and authentic moments worth amplifying

Strong candidates may also:

• Have worked at AI companies, frontier tech companies, or other organizations where the work moves faster than most people can follow
• Have built or run internal communications programs during periods of rapid organizational growth

The annual compensation range for this role is $295,000-$345,000 USD.
