Description

Figma is seeking an Immigration Program Manager to support its growing Immigration and Global Mobility programs.

In this role, you will serve as a primary point of contact for visa-sponsored employees, managing immigration cases and compliance while providing a high-touch employee experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as primary contact for employees and stakeholders on immigration inquiries, visa assessments, case status, and strategy
  • Manage a high-volume immigration case portfolio across US, EMEA, JAPAC, and LATAM
  • Coordinate with outside immigration counsel on case petition preparation, timelines, RFE responses, audits, and compliance matters
  • Track and proactively manage work authorization expirations across the foreign national population
  • Partner with HR and Talent Acquisition to assess immigration sponsorship feasibility for new hires and internal transfers
  • Develop and maintain employee-facing immigration resources, FAQs, playbooks, and compliance documentation
  • Monitor regulatory changes and manage internal reporting, trackers, dashboards, and I-9 compliance efforts

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience managing immigration for EMEA, APAC, and AMER at a global technology company or employment-based immigration law firm
  • Deep subject-matter expertise in U.S. nonimmigrant and immigrant visa categories
  • Experience managing multiple vendors and supporting complex immigration matters
  • Exceptional project management, organizational, and prioritization skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting immigration needs related to M&A activity
  • Strong expertise in Singapore immigration and the COMPASS framework
  • Working knowledge of international assignment management
  • Familiarity with cross-border tax concepts
