Cragston Court is looking to recruit a Registered Mental Health Nurse to join the team. This is a bank role.
Located in Blakelaw, Cragston Court is a 20 bed residential service, offering nurse-led rehabilitation programmes for people living with enduring mental health conditions. We support people coming to us from a hospital environment, and those stepping up from another community placement or their own homes.
As a Registered Mental Health Nurse, you will play a key part in the recovery of our residents, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of residents.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering prescribed care to a defined group within an agreed framework
- Assessing, planning and delivering nursing care which takes account of patient choice and wishes
- Accurately observing and engaging with patients to assess need and evaluate progress
- Monitoring and reviewing Nursing Care plans
To be successful in this role, you will be a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with an active NMC registration and have successfully completed a preceptorship programme. You will demonstrate sound knowledge of NMC guidelines, standards, and professional practices, along with a strong commitment to ongoing professional development.
