Description
We are seeking a part-time Swimming Teacher to work at Colindale Primary School, delivering swimming lessons to pupils in Year 2 to 6.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe, consistent, and fun lessons to groups of children, including those with special educational needs and disabilities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering swimming lessons following the ASA or STA Learn to Swim Framework
- Training the school team for participation in the annual Borough Swimming Gala
- Working with pupils in Year 2 to 6
Requirements:
- ASA or STA Level 2 Award in Safety for Teachers and Current Rescue Test or National Pool Lifeguard Qualification
- National Teaching Plan knowledge and health & safety awareness
- Friendly, patient, enthusiastic, and able to motivate pupils

Contract details:
- Fixed term contract
- 2 days per week (Wednesday and Friday)
- Salary: £10,715 - £15,780 per year (pro-rata)
