Description
WSP is seeking a Process Piping Designer to join their team in Greenville, SC, with consideration for other locations: Mt Laurel, NJ, Oradell, NJ, Overland Park, KS, Boise, ID, Houston, TX, Atlanta, GA. The successful candidate will work on projects with the Power Generation Team, developing process piping models, equipment arrangements, and field verification responsibilities.
Your Impact
- Develop process piping models and equipment arrangements in a team environment with minimal direction.
- Utilize 3D computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) software, working closely with engineers to resolve design details.
- Ensure quality control and contract compliance, documenting work progress and issues.
- Collaborate with engineers and other technical professionals on assigned project phases.
- Provide guidance and training to entry-level drafting and design support staff.
Who You Are
- Bachelor's Degree in a closely related discipline or 10+ years of equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of relevant post-education experience in design/drafting with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
- Experience with 3D modeling design using Hexagon CADWorx or Hexagon Smartplant.
- Coordination model experience with Navisworks.
- Highly proficient expertise with drafting and design support principles, practices, and techniques.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree is preferred.
- Essential professional licensure/certification.
