Development Director - Art

We are seeking a Development Director - Art to lead and manage the Central Art Team for EA SPORTS FC Mobile Shanghai, ensuring delivery of high-quality assets for feature and live teams.

The successful candidate will oversee end-to-end outsourcing processes, align project schedules, priorities, and milestones with company partners and external partners, and monitor progress.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Central Art Team
• Oversee end-to-end outsourcing processes
• Align project schedules, priorities, and milestones
• Monitor progress and implement mitigation strategies
• Manage relationships with external art and co-dev vendors
• Establish clear communication channels and quality standards
• Conduct regular performance reviews and feedback sessions
• Collaborate with producers, designers, engineers, and QA teams
• Facilitate agreement between creative direction, technical feasibility, and production timelines
• Oversee and mentor junior project managers
• Support team members' professional growth and performance development
• Develop and maintain production pipelines, workflows, and documentation
• Review and approve art assets and co-development deliverables

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in project management within the game industry
• At least 2 years managing art teams and outsourcing vendors
• Solid background in mobile game development
• Experience managing co-development projects
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin
• Proficiency with project management tools and asset tracking systems
• Passion for games and understanding of current industry trends
• Experience working with international teams across different time zones
