Description
We are seeking an AI, Data & Advanced Manufacturing Intern to join our team at HP Barcelona. As an intern, you will explore cutting-edge AI and digital technologies with global technical experts and customer-facing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prototype AI agents, reusable AI skills, technical knowledge assistants, and LLM-powered workflows to help engineers solve real problems.
- Create Python tools, scripts, and automations; connect data and systems through REST APIs, and explore emerging integrations such as MCP.
- Analyze industrial data, develop practical data pipelines, visualizations, and dashboards, and turn insights into better engineering decisions.
- Build and demonstrate digital proof-of-concepts with our global ATC team, test ideas with users, and improve tools through feedback.
- Learn HP Multi Jet Fusion and support real customer applications, including part quality, process optimization, and production efficiency.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Data Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Basic programming skills (ideally Python), interest in APIs, data analysis, and AI agents. Familiarity with Git, SQL, LLM tools, MCP, or automation is a plus.
- Curious and proactive technology enthusiast with an experimental, hands-on mindset, analytical thinking, creativity, and strong teamwork skills.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written. Previous experience in 3D printing is not required.
