As a Receiving Specialist supporting SpaceXAI data center operations, you will be responsible for the accurate, timely receipt, inspection, and processing of high-value materials and equipment (servers, GPUs, networking gear, power systems, cooling infrastructure, and other critical components).
Responsibilities
- Receive all materials/packages and transact receipts in the ERP/WMS system; process hold or exception packages as required
- Verify all material received for conformity with accompanying paperwork, checking for damage, correct part numbers, quantities, and specifications
- Create/print routing labels and other required identifiers for received material
- File and maintain accurate records of incoming paperwork and documentation
- Interface with carriers, internal customers, purchasing, and other departments to resolve discrepancies, delays, or issues related to receipt and distribution
- Document non-conformance occurrences in accordance with prescribed procedures
- Perform cycle counts and review stagnant inventory reports to ensure location accuracy
- Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate return shipments and reverse logistics
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial equipment per safety procedures
- Maintain good housekeeping in receiving and staging areas
- Support material flow to construction and operations teams, including kitting and staging as needed
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 3+ years of experience in a supply chain, warehousing, or manufacturing environment
Preferred Skills and Experience
- 3+ years of experience in a receiving role
- Experience in a high-volume manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, technology, or data center environment
- Experience with ERP systems and scanning equipment (RF scanner, handheld scanner, etc.)
- Experience operating a forklift and other powered industrial equipment
- Experience with the control of nonconforming hardware and related processes
- Strong computer skills, including familiarity with the Microsoft suite
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Additional Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted; frequent lifting, standing, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying required
- Must be available for one of the following 12.5-hour shifts: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM or 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
- Work schedule follows a rotating pattern of 4 days on / 3 days off, then 3 days on / 4 days off (and repeating)
- Must be open to working all required shift hours, including nights, weekends, overtime, and holidays as needed to support 24/7 operations
- Must be able to stand/walk for the majority of the shift
- Comfortable working in warehouse/data center environments with varying temperatures, noise, and dust
