We are seeking a talented District Sales Manager - Western Canada to join our team specializing in sales for our Cummins' business in Edmonton, AB, Canada.
In this role, you will make an impact by translating marketplace trends into actionable strategies that sharpen competitive positioning and accelerate organisational growth. You will build trust-based relationships and deliver solutions that directly address customer priorities, increasing loyalty and long-term revenue.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing sales plans to profitably grow the aftermarket business within the assigned territory
- Building and maintaining key relationships with customers and dealers
- Monitoring sales metrics to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats
- Optimizing territory routing and travel to ensure high-quality customer engagements
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure customer needs are met
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Deep industry and product mastery, including heavy-duty aftermarket knowledge
- Strategic relationship-building skills and the ability to become a trusted advisor to customers
- Data-driven sales execution skills, including CRM proficiency and pipeline discipline
- Cross-functional leadership skills and the ability to coordinate with product, marketing, technical, and dealer teams
The ideal candidate will have:
- 5+ years of experience in aftermarket HD truck parts sales or related industries
- Strong sales analytical skills and CRM tools experience (Salesforce, preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Complex problem-solving skills and negotiation skills
- Ability to travel 50-75% of the time
