Description
GuidePoint Security is seeking a DevSecOps Presales Solutions Engineer to collaborate with Account Executives and senior AppSec & AI engineering leadership to drive new business within the Mid-Atlantic region, focusing on Application Security (AppSec) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) security.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of presales experience and a strong background in Application Security and/or AI security concepts, secure software development, and modern DevSecOps practices.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with Account Executives and senior AppSec & AI engineers to drive new and continued business
- Performing technical qualification, discovery, and positioning for AppSec and AI presales opportunities
- Articulating AppSec and AI risks, controls, and architectural tradeoffs to technical and security stakeholders
- Aligning customer AI aspirations with foundational AppSec realities
- Learning new AppSec and AI technologies and articulating their value proposition
The role requires strong communication and troubleshooting skills, as well as the ability to build technical proof points and demonstrate solutions to technical and executive stakeholders.
