Description
We are seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for our Inpatient Weekend Program at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in the rehabilitation of patients, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
Job Summary: The Physical Therapist (PT) - Inpatient Weekend Program will work 32 hours per week, with an 8-hour schedule on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. You will interpret physician referrals, complete evaluations, establish plans of care, and implement individual treatments. Additionally, you will monitor patient outcomes, communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and participate in performance improvement activities.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret physician referrals and complete evaluations

- Complete required documentation and maintain accurate records
- Supervise physical therapy assistants and extenders as needed
Requirements:
- Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the state where you work
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Intermediate computer skills and excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in an inpatient setting
- Strong leadership and management skills
