UI Programmer

Ubisoft Barcelona is seeking a motivated and skilled UI Programmer to join the Rainbow Six Development Team. As a UI Programmer, you will collaborate with the UI artist to create the User Interface and develop technical solutions to ensure visual quality and unity with the entire game.

Responsibilities:

• Create unique user experiences through ergonomic and functional interfaces
• Develop latency-free, reactive interactions
• Participate in prototyping of UI and conduct rapid iterative playtests
• Identify missing details in feature requests and break down tasks into implementable parts
• Re-use existing code effectively

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience as a UI programmer or similar position in the gaming industry
• Strong interest in interface design and related technologies
• Good knowledge of C++, object-oriented development
• Familiarity with Generative AI workflows for programming
• Ability to manage time and work within deadlines
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
