Description
We are seeking a Transformation Office Lead to establish and lead enterprise-wide transformation governance and PMO discipline, ensuring alignment between strategic priorities and execution.
The role holder will be responsible for:
Transformation Office Governance
- Designing and implementing governance framework, structures, and Terms of Reference for monthly and quarterly business review meetings
- Tracking key outcomes, KPIs, and leading indicators aligned to strategic priorities
- Overseeing and assessing progress across strategic pillars, ensuring continued alignment with long-term goals
- Ensuring consistency in planning, tracking, and reporting across initiatives
- Leading the quarterly Strategic Transformation Review, integrating updates across all strategic pillars into a clear executive-level report
PMO
- Aligning projects with approval processes, workflows, and organisational policies
- Establishing clear milestones, assessing cross-functional dependencies, and ensuring alignment across initiatives for strategic initiatives
- Identifying roadblocks and escalating critical risks, trade-offs, and decisions to senior leadership
- Managing interdependencies and proactively resolving bottlenecks
- Providing insights and constructive challenge to improve delivery outcomes
KPI Tracking & Dashboard Development
- Developing and maintaining enterprise KPI framework (financial and non-financial) and structure linked to strategic priorities
- Ensuring alignment of functional KPIs with enterprise-level view to provide a consolidated and consistent performance perspective
- Building and managing a centralized, automated Strategic KPI Dashboard for ExCo
- Monitoring performance by tracking KPIs, trends, and variances, highlighting risks and opportunities
- Ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and alignment with Finance and business teams
MBR/QBR Meeting & Reporting
- Planning and organising MBR/QBR forums, including scheduling, stakeholder alignment, and logistics
- Coordinating stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate data submissions, proactively resolving gaps and inconsistencies
- Delivering high-quality and accurate MBR/QBR content (CEO Update, Business Dashboard, CEO Speaking Notes) on time
- Creating a cohesive performance narrative that links key financial results, business drivers, and outlook
Resource & Portfolio Management
- Managing transformation resource pool and allocating to priority initiatives
- Aligning resources with strategic priorities and delivery timelines
Team Development & Engagement
- Building team capabilities by hiring and developing the right talent with strong governance and PMO expertise
- Developing team members through coaching and tailored development plans
- Driving employee engagement by fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture
Job Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, postgraduate degree preferred
- At least 8 years of working experience in the Insurance and Financial industry
- Solid PMO and project governance experience preferred
- Experience in consulting advisory preferred
- Has worked in various business functions within an Insurance/Financial institution
- Proficient practitioner in project management and has led major cross-function teams in projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent leadership skills, team player, and ability to influence
- Excellent communication skills and able to communicate with senior executives effectively
- Strategic thinking and judgment
- Strong drive for results and accountability
- Ability to challenge constructively and influence outcomes
- High adaptability in complex environments
- Proficient in English and Chinese written and presentation skills
