As a Bioanalytical Data Specialist, you will be responsible for assigning samples to be analysed in the LIMS system, collaborating with relevant departments to prepare samples for analysis, and communicating any sample discrepancies to the central laboratory, site, and/or sponsor as needed.
Key responsibilities:
- Review central laboratory/site documentation to process and assign incoming samples in the LIMS system.
- Ensure study sample integrity and help resolve issues related to sample identification.
- Collaborate with sample management and laboratory leadership to ensure samples are processed and verified within analysis deadlines.
- Provide operational support for sample receipt, inventory, verification, and reconciliation.
- Archive documents associated with study sample management.
- May be required to prepare and review documents during regulatory visits.
Additional qualifications:
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Good computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and ability to use sample tracking software).
- Experience working in a regulated environment is an asset.
- French and English bilingualism is required, including understanding simple messages and following basic instructions.
