Staff Software Engineer - MPP Growth

Abnormal AI is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead the APAC leg of its Multi-Product Platform division.

The team owns the full customer journey, from demo to onboarding, and everything in between.

As a Staff Software Engineer, you will partner with engineering and product leaders to shape the roadmap, make architectural decisions, and lead a team of 15+ engineers.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and mentoring a team of engineers
• Driving the evolution of the Abnormal customer journey
• Developing complex, customer-facing features
• Defining and upholding SLAs for systems
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external customers

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience designing and building web and distributed applications
• 2+ years at staff level
• Demonstrated experience leading multi-quarter projects
• Strong experience collaborating across teams
• Deep understanding of technical excellence
• BS degree in Computer Science or related field

Nice to have:

• Experience in cybersecurity or security-adjacent products
• Background at enterprise-level SaaS companies
• Familiarity with Python, Go, TypeScript, React, Redux, AWS, Kubernetes
