Guest Services Officer - The Seven Seas Group

As a Guest Services Officer with Princess Cruises, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest experiences. You will be responsible for providing friendly, attentive, and authentic service to guests, resolving their issues promptly, and ensuring their stay with us is memorable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver guest service standards that meet or exceed Hotel Policies & Procedures
• Acquire thorough knowledge of the ship, procedures, and onboard product to provide accurate information to guests
• Listen to guest service issues with empathy and understanding, escalating to Supervisor if necessary
• Provide a positive first impression to every guest through a warm, welcoming greeting
• Nurture a memorable connection with every guest by remaining fully engaged throughout their stay
• Observe guest preferences and adjust service accordingly, anticipating their needs
• Understand and support the onboard CRUISE program
• Participate in All Hands meetings and offer ideas to improve the onboard product and services
• Ensure all guest complaints are listened to, understood, and resolved promptly
• Take ownership of each complaint and follow up with the guest to ensure resolution
• Handle financial transactions with strong attention to detail and balance cash-float daily
• Assist the Guest Services Manager with various tasks, including contacting guests and processing payments
• Maintain current, accurate knowledge of public health standards and respond to outbreak situations

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:

• Graduate of a recognized hotel or business school OR 1-year experience as Front Desk Receptionist
• Proficiency in computer-based programs
• Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written
• Fantastic attitude and a natural love for dealing with complex issues in a guest-facing environment
