Senior Program Operations Manager

As a Senior Program Operations Manager at Airbnb, you will work with the Senior Business Operations and Growth Lead to develop and execute strategies to grow the Airbnb Platform in Japan.

Your primary focus will be on:

• Analysis to enable robust strategy building
• Operationalizing strong cross-functional governance of the Japan business
• Execution of growth programs

You will partner closely with multiple cross-functional teams to achieve origin guest growth ambitions and be part of the single most accountable team regarding guest demand growth.

Responsibilities include:

• Analyzing data to unveil insights that inform growth strategies
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Community, International, Policy, Legal, Hosts Communications, Marketing, Operations, Product, and Finance
• Operationalizing strong cross-functional governance to execute strategies and deliver results
• Building frameworks to support decision-making in-country
• Owning and supporting execution of origin guest growth plans

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in analytics, strategy, and project management, preferably in tech platform industries, hospitality, or online travel agencies
• Demonstrated track record of leading and delivering complex programs with cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments
• Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Bias for action and execution with an entrepreneurial perspective
• Ability to thrive in dynamic and ambiguous environments
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency in English and Japanese
• Comfortable with Excel, SQL
