Description
We are seeking a skilled Notebook Hardware Application Engineer to join our team in Santa Clara. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for working with multi-functional teams to develop notebook features, creating design guides, application notes, and other technical collateral. You will also provide technical support during notebook development, testing, and production, and conduct hardware design reviews to ensure customer designs meet NVIDIA guidelines.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop notebook features and create technical documentation
- Providing technical support during notebook development, testing, and production
- Conducting hardware design reviews to ensure customer designs meet NVIDIA guidelines
- Troubleshooting and resolving customer issues
Requirements include:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5 years' experience with notebook hardware and circuit design
- Professional-level interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Extensive knowledge of notebook hardware, power, thermal, and electrical systems
- Ability to measure signals and operate oscilloscopes
- Familiarity with Linux and X86 system architecture
Preferred qualifications include experience with ARM, hardware design, and knowledge of PCIe, I2C, DP/eDP/HDMI, USB-C, I2S, and SATA.
