CNC Operator - Level II

We are seeking a CNC Operator - Level II to join our Manufacturing team at Cummins Inc. in Ciénega De Flores, Mexico.

The CNC Operator - Level II will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines, lathes, grinders, milling machines, drill presses, and shapers. The ideal candidate will have experience with measuring devices, layout work, and setting up tool room machines to build or fabricate details and assemble as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE): Stop work and immediately report any major injury hazards. Report any work-related injury, illness, incident or hazard. Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures and regulations.
• Quality: Applies high standards of workmanship and craftsmanship. Support equipment uptime and downtime failure analysis.
• Delivery: Ability to run all tool room equipment including Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) machines, lathes, grinders, milling machines, drill presses and shapers.
• Teamwork: Communicates effectively with the assigned team and with all support teams.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

• High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience.

Experience:

• Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
