Join the team as Twilio's next Senior Strategic Account Executive. This position is needed to sell into high value prospects and customers, playing a key role in further growing the business across EMEA with a particular focus on Southern Europe. You will be responsible for managing fast-growing customers in the region, focused mainly on product cross and up-sell and GP growth, as well as sourcing net new opportunities within a set of accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Service the fastest growing customers in the region.
- Grow revenue and gross profit share of wallet within key account list.
- Open doors to the purchase of Twilio's products and services, including voice, messaging, email, contact centre, and account security software.
- Maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
- Create pricing proposals, negotiate terms, and manage the contract process.
- Sell solutions to technical and business audiences.
- Build trust and mutual respect with technical customers and peers.
- Think outside the box and have extraordinary interpersonal and communication skills to make complex contractual, technical, and financial details sound simple.
- Balance challenging priorities and handle multiple projects/deals at the same time.
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of Account Management/Sales experience covering selling and closing complex technical solutions to a large customer base.
- History of working with accounts ranging from large multinational enterprise customers to SMB.
- Demonstrated success by achieving quota on a consistent basis.
- Track record of Account Management experience and a solid understanding of how to cross-sell and upsell solutions within a mature customer base.
- Solid understanding of financial reporting within a direct customer base, including revenue and gross profit tracking, risk and opportunity (net new business) cadence.
- Fluent in French.
Desired:
- Experience selling to both business and technical audiences.
- Experience and understanding of working in the communications market, preferably with messaging, voice calling, email, or account security verification.
Location: This role will be remote, based in the UK, Ireland, or Spain.
Travel: Approximately 25% travel is anticipated to help connect in-person in a meaningful way.
