Research Internship, AI for Science

We are seeking ambitious, motivated interns for our Asta Project, focusing on AI research assistants for scientists, literature understanding and synthesis, end-to-end discovery, human-AI interaction, and intelligent interfaces.

As a Research Intern, you will conduct high-impact research and author scientific papers for publication in high-profile computing conferences and journals. You will collaborate with and learn from a dedicated Ai2 mentor and other team members across Ai2, including scientists and engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct high-impact research and author scientific papers for publication in high-profile computing conferences and journals.
• Collaborate with and learn from a dedicated Ai2 mentor and other team members across Ai2, including scientists and engineers.

Requirements:

• PhD student with research experience in Computer Science or a related field.
• Publication record in AI-related venues.
• Strong software engineering skills.
• Experience with system building, deep learning frameworks, or agentic frameworks.
