As a Medical Writer II at ICON, you will contribute to the development and preparation of clinical trial documents, regulatory submissions, and scientific publications, advancing innovative treatments and therapies.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret clinical data accurately and adapt it to meet project objectives
- Ensure compliance with medical publications and communications guidelines
- Represent assigned work at internal and external meetings
- Understand client publication and communication plans
- Collaborate with Senior Medical Writers and Account Managers to manage medical writing resources
- Participate in business development activities, such as background research and writing support for new business proposals and organic growth opportunities
Requirements:
- Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, or MD)
- 1-3 years of high-level content development experience
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret scientific and technical journal content
- Familiarity with ICMJE and GPP guidelines
- Proficiency with commonly used software, including word processing, graphics, and bibliographic software
- Demonstrable command of the English language
